Weekly timesheet
Saving is off. Your entries stay in this tab.
Simple inputs. Transparent totals.
Net shift time = clock-out − clock-in − unpaid break. If clock-out is earlier, add 24 hours before subtracting the break. Each row supports one shift of up to 24 hours. A blank row adds nothing.
Example: 09:00 to 17:30 with a 30-minute break is 8 hours. Five such shifts total 40 hours. An overnight shift from 22:00 to 06:00 with a 30-minute break is 7 hours 30 minutes.
Weekly overtime, if enabled, is the time above your chosen threshold. Estimated gross pay = regular hours × hourly rate + overtime hours × hourly rate × multiplier. The final pay estimate is rounded to two decimal places; displayed decimal hours do not drive the calculation.
Entries are wall-clock times without dates or time zones. On a daylight-saving transition, adjust entries to the actual elapsed hours. This tool does not determine legal pay entitlements or replace payroll records.
Time card calculator FAQ
How do overnight shifts work?
22:00 to 06:00 automatically counts into the next day. The entire shift belongs to its starting day in this weekly card. Split a shift manually if it crosses your payroll week boundary.
Are 7.50 hours and 7 hours 50 minutes the same?
No. 7.50 decimal hours is 7 hours 30 minutes. CSV includes exact net minutes and decimal hours to make the distinction clear.
Where is my saved card?
If you opt in, it is saved in local storage for this browser and site only. It does not sync across devices. Turn saving off to remove the saved copy. Clearing browser data also removes it.
Does this apply overtime laws automatically?
No. Weekly overtime is an optional setting, initially off. The suggested 40 hours and 1.5 multiplier are editable examples. Daily overtime, holidays, multiple rates, taxes, and jurisdiction-specific rules are not calculated.
Can I use multiple shifts in a day?
This version supports one shift per day. Combine the elapsed paid time carefully or calculate separate cards. Do not overlap consecutive rows; the tool does not detect schedule overlaps.
